Carla Dykstra is a transformational Human Resources leader with a passion for fostering inclusive workplaces and driving organizational growth. With a proven track record in compensation strategy, talent management, and culture enhancement, she has spent her career championing equity, belonging, and leadership development in the workplace. Most recently, Carla served as a Global Compensation Manager, Carla has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing equitable pay structures, navigating complex workforce challenges, and advocating for policies that support diverse talent pipelines. Her extensive experience spans industries, from corporate HR leadership to higher education, where she has influenced strategic planning, performance management, and organizational development. Beyond her corporate achievements, Carla is a dedicated advocate for women's leadership and professional advancement. She serves as President of the Texas Leadership Consortium – Central Texas Advisory Board, mentors HR professionals through SHRM, and actively contributes to organizations such as WilcoHR and Austin Business Woman and recently becoming a business owner Carla Dykstra Enterprises, LLC which includes, Purple Lu Travel, Dykstra Notary Services, and Dynamic HR Strategies. As a first-time moderator for this Women in Leadership panel, Carla brings not only expertise in HR strategy but also a deep commitment to empowering women in their professional journeys. Her ability to foster meaningful dialogue, challenge norms, and create spaces for diverse voices makes her an ideal leader for this conversation on leadership, inclusion, and career growth.
